Hello, I'm Rishabh
In my free time, I’m usually at the gym, reading about health, or messing around in the kitchen.

Clean Bean came from those quiet moments, trying to fix my own meals without reaching for fancy powders. I wanted something simple, something my mom would use too. This brand is just an extension of that, a small attempt to make everyday food a bit more nourishing.
Our Story
As a vegetarian, I’d always leaned on soy for protein, fifty-two grams in every hundred. It felt like the obvious, efficient choice.

But one day, my Mami, my maternal aunt, mentioned something that made me pause: “You know soy has estrogen, right? Maybe not the best thing to have every day.”

At first, I brushed it off. But her words lingered. I began researching, reading studies, speaking to nutritionists, trying to understand what I was really consuming. I wanted to find a way to make soy safer and healthier.

In that process, I discovered something unexpected: the real opportunity wasn’t just in reducing phytoestrogens, but in how soy was processed. I learned about defatted soy flour, a by-product of oil extraction that’s often treated as animal feed. With the right treatment, washing, drying, and refining, it could become a clean, human-grade, eco-conscious protein source that’s not only affordable but also low in heavy metals.

That discovery reshaped everything. The Clean Bean Project grew from a search for “better soy” into a mission to make plant protein cleaner, safer, and more sustainable, for people who care about health but also about how their food impacts the planet.

It’s simple. It’s honest. And it comes from trying to fix something I once took for granted.
