Clean Bean came from those quiet moments, trying to fix my own meals without reaching for fancy powders. I wanted something simple, something my mom would use too. This brand is just an extension of that, a small attempt to make everyday food a bit more nourishing.
Our Story
The Clean Bean Project started with a conversation I couldn’t shake off.

As a vegetarian, I’ve always leaned on soy for its protein. It felt like the obvious choice. Fifty-two grams of protein in every hundred grams. Simple, efficient, easy.
​
But one day, my Mami, my maternal aunt, brought up something that made me pause. “You know soy has estrogen, right? Might not be the best thing to have every day.”
​
I brushed it off at first, but her words stuck with me. Was I unknowingly compromising my health?
​
I started digging. Reading studies, talking to people, trying to understand what I was really consuming. The more I learned, the more it became clear. Soy is great, but it comes with its own set of concerns.

That’s what led me here. The Clean Bean Project is my way of solving a problem I faced myself. We’re working on creating clean, high-quality, phyto-estrogen reduced soy flour for people like me. Vegetarians who care about what they’re putting into their bodies and don’t want to choose between health and nutrition.

It’s simple. It’s honest. And it comes from a place of genuinely wanting to do better.
